After recovering from anorexia, Mirjam now dedicates her career to helping eating disorder treatment providers with their marketing strategy. She serves as co-chair of the social media committee for the Academy for Eating Disorders and vice president for the South Bay Eating Disorder Coalition Board. She is an active advocate for mental health awareness and utilizes her own experiences and professional expertise to inspire others to believe in full recovery. In her spare time, you can find Mirjam spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, cooking, or dreaming about her dream destination, Hawaii.
