Lauren Burkholder

After seven years of battle multiple forms of eating disorders and exercise addiction, Lauren finally feels to be in a good place, both physically and mentally. Throughout her recovery attempts, she learned a lot about herself and life in general. Despite multiple setbacks, she never lost ambition. She is graduating college with a bachelors degree in exercise science and a minor in nutrition. Lauren wants to use her degrees, story, and passion for writing in combination to address society’s misconceptions about health, fitness, and appearance. She is an advocate for body positivity, overall health, and living a balanced lifestyle.
