Brooke Heberling is a recovered anorexic who struggled with restriction, over exercise, and bulimia for 16 years. She is currently an English teacher at Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA, the Marketing Director and Ambassador for Manna Fund, and runs a charity with Jana Troskie and Jessica Palmer through her Facebook page Live Free Fighters Pop-Up. The charity raises money for the Manna Fund, provides LuLaRoe leggings for women in treatment, and also provides LuLaRoe outfits for women at home from treatment in recovery form an eating disorder. She is currently taking her story of recovery to eating disorder treatment centers to speak with women who are struggling so they can see that there is hope in full recovery- the women she shares her story with also get a free pair of fun LuLaRoe leggings! She also is a regular co-host of the Food, Faith, and Feelings radio show in Atlanta with Manna Fund founder Dr. Genie Burnett. Brooke is married to Derrick Heberling, who is the youth director and the head boys’ basketball coach at Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, GA. They have two children: Graham, 5; and Anna Blue, 3. She loves to write, go to the movies, be outside, and have girl’s nights with her best friends. Most of all, she loves living free.
